Healthcare Benefits Analyst and Coding Team Lead

With more than 16 years of experience in group benefits administration and management, Susan has worked on both the brokerage and employer side of healthcare benefits for companies ranging in size from 10 to 10,000 employees. She has extensive experience in data analysis, auditing, reporting and compliance. At JGI, Susan leads plan documentation and our internal coding team. She graduated from Vincennes University with an associate degree in business management.

As a healthcare benefits analyst, I understand the importance of having a keen eye for detail, as well as an understanding of healthcare industry trends and common practices. I’d like to think these are just a few of the qualities I bring to the table in my role at JGI. My commitment to thorough analysis of benefit documents and attention to detail allows me to identify potential issues and discrepancies, which ultimately lead to cost savings for our clients. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this team. JGI provides a supportive environment allowing me the freedom not only to improve existing skills but also learn and develop new ones.
